Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy S20 and S20+ are releasing with a 64MP shooter for 8K videos and a 12-megapixel Sony-manufactured sensor. The leaks specification of Samsung Galaxy S20 persists on spreading as Samsung has confirmed for the Unpacked launch of S20 on 11th February at San Francisco.
According to XDA-developers, drooled details for S20+ camera highlights and the display of 120hz refresh rate. The other leaks give signs about the continuation of Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor similar to S10. There are expectations of the highest resolution, 108-megapixel camera, which probably will reveal in S20 Ultra.
In a nutshell, the S20 series will may have following camera specs:
- Samsung Galaxy S20: 12-megapixel + 64-megapixel + 12-megapixel
- Samsung Galaxy S20+: 12-megapixel + 64-megapixel + 12-megapixel + ToF sensor
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra: 48-megapixel + 108-megapixel + 12-megapixel + ToF sensor
Following the tradition of Note10 and Fold, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack in S20.
Further significant addition, visible in the leak, is the photo modes. To recommend and auto-capture pictures and videos, it shows a “single take” mode. “Smart Selfie Angel” activates wide-angle to pack crowd of people and a “pro video” mode that records multiple videos and would be able to convert these pros into moving flow of pictures.
Samsung is predicted to premier the Galaxy S20 family with three versions of the different displays. “S20” will come out with a 6.2 inches display, “S20+” with 6.7 inches screen, and “S20 Ultra” that will have the largest screen among family, 6.9 inches panel.
Other expected specs for S20 include 25W fast charging, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery.
The Galaxy S20 family is featuring Qualcomm next-generation flagship processor for phones, the Snapdragon 865 with Samsung’s X55 5G modem.
The next foldable phone by Samsung, possibly, Galaxy Bloom, is also suspected to be the part of this upcoming unpacked premier show.
A few days back, a leakster on Twitter reportedly from China posted the following expected specs for all major variants of the S20 family we are expecting to be released. Some of the specs contradict with the ones we have above from xda-developers.
