Apple is soon coming with an iPhone SE successor, iPhone 9. The rumors say that the new phone could be Apple’s renewed commitment to low-cost phones with significant marketing power.
After the iPhone SE, people have been waiting for the next package from Apple with a handful of body, low price, but brilliant features. The new iPhone SE version, possibly named iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2, is expected to be launched in an event on March 31.

iPhone 9 Display
The upcoming budget iPhone may come with a small LCD and bring back ‘touch ID’. The screen will be 4.7 inches with a physical home button, bezels, and the fingerprint sensor. The display of the new phone will have the same resolution as that of the iPhone 8. The 750 x 1334 resolution of the iPhone 9 LCD will not match the beauty of the new OLED based iPhone models, but still good.
It is possible that the Cupertino giant launches the Plus version as well. iPhone 9 Plus may come with a screen size of 5.5 or 6.1 inches.
iPhone 9 Camera
As per the prediction, Apple will stick to its 12 MP sensor camera, with a larger unit than iPhone 8. With this, it is safe to say that the phone’s camera can record 4K videos and shoot up to 60 fps. iPhone 9 is expected to have a single camera (not dual or triple camera setup) on the rear end.
A13 Processors
The new iPhone 9 is expected to have more powerful processors than the iPhone 8 – just like iPhone SE looked similar to iPhone 5S, but under the hood, it was all up to date.
It is rumored that, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new iPhone will have an A13 processor, Apple’s newest chipset. It will come with a 3 GB RAM and is expected to have 64 GB and 128 GB storage.Â
Expected Price
Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s analyst, expected the price of the iPhone 9 would fall under $400. He predicted the price to be $399 as Apple aims to attract budget-minded customers with its new iPhone, especially as Apple is manufacturing budget iPhones in India.
iPhone 9 Release Date
It is expected that the new phone will be out first by the end of March 2020. However, the outbreak of coronavirus is likely to cause delays as the iPhone manufacturing factories in China have been partly shut.
Due to the coronavirus, the production of smartphones has slowed down globally. Though, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, said last week that mass production has been resumed since factories have returned to the smartphone fabrications.
If the plan goes as expected, after the launch on March-end, the new low budget iPhone will release on April 11 this year, depending upon the new iPhone enough production to satisfy the demand worldwide. Lets wait for a final announcement from Apple’s Newsroom.
